Mary Nielsen Hazeldine, 91, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012.

She was born July 6, 1920 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of John Franklin and Ruby Hunt Nielsen.

She was married to Lee Oliver Hazeldine in 1940. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple in 1986.

Mary loved her family dearly and was able to care for her grandchildren who are all so special to her. She loved her church calling as ward organist and pianist for Primary and the Young Women's organization.

She is survived by her three sons, Tom, Ririe, ID; James (Rosalie), Kaysville; and Mike (Marny), Kaysville; five grandsons, five great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson, brother, Merrill R. Nielsen, CA; sister, Audrey Cannon, MN; and sister-in-law, Joyce Nielsen, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, and three sisters.

The family would like to thank her wonderful friends, neighbors, and staff from VistaCare Hospice for their loving care and attention given to mom.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the Kaysville Fairfield Ward Chapel, 550 North 100 East, Kaysville. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street, Kaysville, and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.
Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
