Ida Stark Witzke was born in
Mickro, East Prussia, Germany, May
8, 1854, and died March 6, 1926,
being 71 years, 9 months, 23 days
old.

She was married to Herman
Witzke April 14, 1874. In 1892 they
came to America and settled at
Bloomingiton, Ill. where they lived for
two years. From there they moved
to a farm near Newell. For the past
several years Mr. and Mrs. Witke
have been living in Newell.


Six sons and three daughters were
born to them, all of whom survive
except one son, Carl, who passed
away eleven months ago. The children
are: Henry Witzke, August
Witzke, Mrs. Herman Hanke, Mrs.
Wm. Mish, Mrs. W. E. Kinney, Chris
Witzke, Otto Witzke and William
Witzke. Besides her children she
leaves to mourn her departure, her
husband and twenty grand children
besides numerous, other relatives and
many friends.
