Funeral Services were conducted today at Springtown for W. H. (Hershel) Plumlee, 52, who died in a Fr. Worth hospital Thursday morning after a short illness. Plumlee was born and reared in the Springtown Community and was the son of the late J. T. Plumlee, pioneer of that community.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and two sons: Mrs. T. A. Johnson of Fort Worth, Mrs. D. G. Blevins of Fort Worth, John C. Plumlee of Fort Worth; W. H. Plumlee, Jr. of Springtown. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. J. T. Plumlee of Springtown and four brothers, Floyd, Jack, and Green, all of the Springtown community, and Jim C. Plumlee of Weatherford.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at 3 pm at the Sprigntown Methodist Church by Rev. W. E. Shipp of Waco. Burial took place in the Springtown cemetery with D. G. Blevins, T. A. Johnson, G. L. Plumlee, Julian Plumlee, J. L. Plumlee and Roy Plumlee as pallbearers.
