John J. Plumlee, 55 of Kennedale died at 5 pm Saturday in a Fort Worth hospital.
A native of Springtown, he had lived in Fort Worth for 30 years. He was an employee of Western Electric and a veteran of World War II.
Survivng him are his wife, Frankie; three daughters, Mrs. Lyna Laswell, Mrs. Vickie Lowery and Beverly Plumlee, aa of Fort Worth; two brothers, Ed Plumlee, Fort Worth, and G. L. Plumlee, Weatherford; and one sister, Mrs. Nina Gilliland, Dallas.
Funeral services were scheduled for 2:30 pm, Monday in the Springtown United Methodist church with the Rev. James Van Rite officiating. Burial was to be in the Springtown Cemetery with White's Funeral Home of Springtown in charge of arrangements.
