Abraham (2nd son of John I) and his sister (Catherine) married Hugh Whitehill and Hugh's sister, Sarah Jane Whitehill. Hugh bought land in Rilsley Twp, Chantauqua Co, N.Y. Abraham and Sarah Jane lived with Hugh and Catherine for a short period after marriage, then moved to St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada where Abraham engaged in drilling salt wells.
