Doris I. Schossow, 86, of Witoka, Minn., died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at Lake Winona Manor.
She was born Dec. 8, 1919, in Witoka. She married Norman E. Schossow and has five surviving children.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ridgeway, Minn. Burial will be in Witoka Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home in Winona.

WITOKA, Minn. - Doris I. Schossow, 86, of Witoka died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at Lake Winona Manor.
Doris Irene was born Dec. 8, 1919, in Witoka to Archie S. and Hazel D. (Anderson) Milton.
On Feb. 15, 1941, she married Norman E. Schossow in Witoka. She farmed with her husband in Pleasant Hill Township for many years, and Norman preceded her in death July 15, 1983. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridgeway, Minn.
Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. She made ornaments for family members each year and kept her decorations up as long as she could. Doris also was known for her cake decorating, quilting, furniture refinishing and gardening, which included vegetables and flowers in her two acre garden.
Doris is survived by five children, Dale (Sharon) Schossow of Ridgeway; James Schossow of Witoka; Glen (Audrey) Schossow of La Crescent, Minn.; Carol (Robert) Stedman of Winona; and Nancy (Dennis) Luhmann of Hart, Minn.; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mariam Douglas of Witoka, Jane Soppa of Arcadia, Wis., and Maida Smith of Ridgeway; a sister-in-law Virgina Milton of Winona; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Roger; a grandson, Brian Schossow; and a brother, Charles Milton.
Funeral services for Doris will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Joseph A. Crabtree officiating. Interment will be at Witoka Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home, Winona, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Casket bearers will be her grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
