A son of John S. & Sarah Buzzard Rodgers;
he was married in May of 1904 to Alfarata Weaver.
He was a former state highway department employee and a life long resident of the area. He resided in the at R.D. 4,Punxsutawney area and he died at the Adrian Hospital in Punxsutawney.
Surviving were his wife are three sons:
~ Harry Rodgers;
~ Raymond Rodgers;
~ Samuel Rodgers;
~ Mrs. Willavene Leidy.
15 grandchildren,19 great grandchildren;
two half brothers:
Captain & Frank Rodgers;
and a half sister, Mrs.Mary Virginia Straub,all of
Charleston,West Virginia.
