Edward Jenkins, fourth child and a son of John and Sarah (Hawkesworth or Hoxworth) Jenkins, was born July 12, 1758. He resided at Gwynedd and kept the general country store at that place.
He married Sarah Foulke on April 26, 1792. She was the daughter of Theophilus and Margaret (Thomas) Foulke, of Richland Twp., Bucks County, Pa. She was born Dec. 28, 1764.
