Beverly Theodore Spriggs died Sunday morning at his home in Great Cacapon.

He was born in Morgan County, January 22, 1906, son of James R. and Elizabeth Dawson Spriggs, and was a retired assistant foreman of the Western Union Telegraph Company, working there 33 years.

Mr. Spriggs had attended the Great Cacapon United Methodist church and was a member of Tonoloway Council, JOUAM.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jarahnia Hivick Spriggs, at the home; two sons, Raymond Spriggs, Sacramento, Calif., and Paul Spriggs, at the home; one daughter, Mrs. Judy Merica, Great Cacapon; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Velda Bader, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Teresa Dawson and Mrs. Wilma Farris, both of Berkeley Springs, and one brother, James C. Spriggs, Great Cacapon.

The body is at the Johnson Funeral Home in Berkeley Springs and will be moved to the Great Cacapon United Methodist Church at noon tomorrow for services at 1 p.m., the Rev. Glen Irvin to officiate, assisted by the Rev. C.S. Reckley. Interment will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

JOUAM members will serve as pallbearers.
