Sgt. First Class Orlin G. Cole, United States Army Ret., age 83, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011.
Orlin is survived by his son, Mark E. Cole and his wife. Barbara of Navarre, FL, daughter, Carol E. Cole of Albuquerque, NM, daughter, Sally E Cole-Stokes, seven grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Orlin was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mabel Anderson Cole, his wife of 58 years Elaine M. Cole and his son, James B. Cole.
Orlin served his country in the United States Army before retiring in 1970 with a Purple Heart, was a life member of the NRA and also ran for the United States Senate in New Mexico more than once.
Services will be held on November 8, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at French - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, with interment to follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
