Mrs. Hayes was born in Judsonia, AR., on August 13, 1915.
She was a homemaker and retired restaurant cook, she enjoyed quilting. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She married her husband William Crockett Hayes on August 28, 1935 in Fairdealing, MO. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1971.
She is survived by two sons Donald Hayes of Siloam Springs, AR., Jimmy Hayes of Corning, AR.; two daughters Stacey Battles of Corning, AR., Angie Moore of Branson, MO.; three sisters Helen Curtis of Mission, TX., Syble Ingram of Corning, AR., Betty Vinson of Corning, AR.; one brother William Fowler of Polk City, FL.; eleven grand-children, twenty three great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Hayes; her parents Andrew Franklin and Suzie Jane (Bullington) Fowler; two sons

Larry Hayes on March 28, 2000; two sisters Nellie Calhoun and Lucille Curtis.
Funeral services were in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was held at Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR.
