Mrs. Fowler Funeral Was Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Jane Fowler, 84-year-old resident of Knobel, were conducted Saturday morning. August 6, in the Ermert Funeral Chapel by Reverend William Hayes, assisted by Reverend Raymond Watkins.

She was born January 11, 1895 in Alabama, daughter of John Jasper and Fannie Lizabeth Staton Bullington and was a charter member of Knobel First Baptist church. Her husband, Andrew S. Fowler, died March 24, 1956. They were married August 28, 1910 in Arkansas.

Surviving are one son, William Fowler of Corning; six daughters, Mrs. Nellie Calhoun of Fairdealing, Missouri, Mrs. Maudie Hayes of Corning, Mrs. Lucille Curtis of Cicero, Illinois, Mrs. Helen Curtis of Mission, Texas, Mrs. Syble Walker of Federal Way, Washington and Mrs. Betty Vinson of Corning; one brother, John Bullington of Knobel; 25 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren anf four great great grandchildren.

Burial was in Bond cemetery at Knobel. Pallbearers were Bob Cochran, Bryan Arnold, Tom Fairchild, Mike Duncan, John Hancock and Thad Mason.
