The following was most likely from the Loogootee, Indiana paper. The xeroxed copy was not marked. It would've been published around the 1950 time frame:

"Six Howard Sons
Have Entered Ministry
__________________

Mrs. Grace Howard of Alfordsville is the mother of six sons and they have all entered the ministry. Five have church pastorates and the sixth is in school studying to be a traveling evangelist. The Howard family formerly resided in Loogootee for a number of year. The father, Adolphus [sic] Howard, now deceased, answered a call to study for the ministry of the Methodist church late in his life, and the sons are following in his footsteps.

A son, Albert, attended college at Indiana Central, Indianapolis and is now pastor of the United Brethren church at Freetown, IN, with three churches in his circuit. Paul received his training in Taylor University, Upland, Indiana, and has a pastorate of two churches in the north circuit of the Methodist church at Mount Vernon, Ind. They also attended Evansville college. Harold attended the National Bible Institute in New York City and was assigned a pastorate of the Cypress Avenue Baptist Church in that city. Willis also attended the Indiana Central College in Indianapolis. He is an evangelist and has just closed a revival series of meetings in Illinois. Lester attended Taylor University and is now pastor of two churches at Gentryville. John is now in college at Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina and plans to do evangelist work. Albert and Paul are married and Harold expects to be on December 17th.

There is one grandchild, a daughter of Rev. Paul.

Mrs. Howard has one daughter, Esther Mae, a sophomore in the Afordsville high school. She is fond of music and plays the piano and is active in young peoples' work in the church."
