She taught school at Ryans in Itawamba County for many years. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Bobby Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, David Tallant (Laura Dressel) of Thompson Falls, Mont., and Kemmy Cody of Fulton; one brother, Tommie Joe Waddle of Shannon; three sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Bohannon of Saltillo, Sandy McGrew of Franklin, Tenn., and Mary Nell Cooper of Fulton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Louis Tallant and Alton Cody; her parents; her step-mother, Mildred Waddle; one sister, Elizabeth Wouldridge; and five brothers, Jed Waddle, Morris Waddle, Jimmie Waddle, John Robert Waddle and Robin Waddle.
