Laudvell Bolender was the son of George Edwin Bolendar and Hortense (Beisel) Bolender. Nickname 'Laudie' per his obituary.

Laudvell married his first wife Norma Lenore Saddler on Jan 22, 1940 at Elmira in Waterloo County (now Waterloo Region), Ontario per the marriage record. Before marriage Norma lived at Elmira and Laudvell lived at RR 2 Drayton in Peel Township.

His second wife was Audrey Mae (West) (Tonkin) (Rochon) Bolender.

BOLENDER, Laudvell "Laudie" Peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus at the age of 95 years, of RR 1, Elora. Beloved husband of Audrey Bolender. Dear father of Yvonne Somers of Palmerston, Stuart and Pat Bolender of RR 1, Elora, Peggy McMillan of RR 2, Alma, Ralph Bolender of Gravenhurst, Gerald Bolender (Deb Molto) of RR 3, Goderich, and stepfather of Ronald (Carol) Tonkin, Jack (Linda) Tonkin, all of Fergus, Linda (Bob) Diebold of Elmira, Michael (Dianne) Rochon of Elora, and Timothy (Nicole) Rochon of Guelph. Also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grand-children, 11 step-grand-children and 11 step-great-grandchildren. Brother of Alice Gammy of Petersburg. Laudie is fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his first wife Norma (1982), parents George and Hortense (Beisel) Bolender, two grandchildren Susan and Todd McMillan, sister Aulta Watson, daughter-in-law Sharon Bolender, sons-in-law Bill Hackert and Ron McMillan. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.
