Mrs. Redding, 74, Of Delphi, Dies.

Delphi - Mrs. Sherman Redding, 74, of 111 North Wilson, St., died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Monticello Nursing Home, where she had been a patient for 28 days.She was a resident of Delphi, residing there with her daughter at 111 N Wilson Street. .

She was born in White County, Sept. 22, 1882, the daughter of John W and Elisa Bailey. Her husband, Sherman Redding preceded her in death in 1946. She was a member of the Yeoman Methodist church and had made her home in that community until the last few years when she went to the home of her daughter..

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Verlin Austin of Delphi; Mrs. John Anderson of Elgin, Ill.; Mrs. Lawrence Davis of Monticello; and Mrs. Dean Runkle of Lafayette; one brother, Clifford Bailey, of Monticello; six sisters, Mrs. Zetta Van Meter, Miss Lily Bailey, and Mrs. Lona Berkshire, all of Monticello; Mrs. Tola Greider, of Logansport; Mrs. Irene Thompson, of San Franscisco, Calif.; and Mrs. Zerba Austin of Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren..

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi. Rev. O.P. Manker will officiate and internment will be in the Riverview cemetery, Monticello. Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Home after noon on Saturday..
