Passed away peacefully at Valley Hospital on October 16, 2009. Bonnie was born on November 15, 1922, in a farmhouse north of Creston, Washington, to Herbert and Jeannette Blaisdell. She graduated as salutatorian from Creston High School in 1940.

After leaving home, she worked in Seattle for the telephone company and later moved to Spokane, where she was the payroll clerk for Consolidated Freightways. It was at "CF" where she met her husband, Peter Knoll. They were married in 1948, resided in Spokane Valley, and had five children.

Bonnie's interests included piano playing, poetry, reading, bowling, travel, and being with family. She was a member of Veradale United Church of Christ, Teamster Retirees, and the "Singles Over 60 Club."

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Susan, brothers Jack and Dick, and sisters Dorthy and Willa. She is survived by children Judy Krommenhoek, Sandy (Rocky) McQueen, Linda Knoll, and Keith (Cher) Knoll; grandchildren Morgan and Stephanie McQueen, Makenzie Knoll, Devin (Rochelle) and Ashley Hannas; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Pastor Linda Crowe, longtime family friend Janet Mackey, and the staff at Rockwood Valley Cancer Treatment Center.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2009, from noon to 4:30 p.m. at Hazen and Jaeger, 1306 N. Pines. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 22, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Veradale United Church of Christ, 611 N. Progress. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
