Mr. Blaisdell, a resident of 1190 Elmdale St., died Saturday at his home. He was a native of Washington.
Mr. Blaisdell, a retired social worker for the Kentucky Department of Human Resources, was a veteran of World War II and past commander of American Legion Post No. 31. He attended Whitworth College in Spokane, Wash., and received his master's degree from the University of Kentucky.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert (Jeanette) Blaisdell, and his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Green Blaisdell, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Owen Kim Blaisdell of Paducah, and John Blaisdell, stationed with the U.S. Navy in Guam; a brother, Richard B. Blaisdell if Greenacres, Wash.; three sisters, Willa Brown of Davenport, Wash., Dorothy Gulliksons of Creston, Wash., and Bonnie Knoll of Spokane, Wash.; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
