Henry Culler, 85, a native and life-long resident of the Monongahela Valley, died at 5:15 a.m., today at the home of his sister Mrs. Samuel Daugherty of Belle Vernon, R. D. He had been ill since last Tuesday when he suffered a stroke . Had he lived until May 14 he would have been 86 years of age. Mr. Culler devoted his life to farming and was active up until his last illness, hiring out by the day or week for farm work, he was a member of Rehobeth church.
He is survived by seven children, a brother and a sister among them a daughter, Mrs. Hanna Stablein and a son, Charles of Charleroi. Mrs. Angelo Cattaneo of Gallatin is a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. from the Daugherty home. Burial will take place in the Monongahela cemetery.
