Joe Pat Langley, 61, of Laurel, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at South Central Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Faith Chapel in Laurel, MS. Bro. Dennis Middleton and Bro. Dusty Golobay will officiate. Burial will be in Faith Chapel Cemetery in Laurel. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, (601)477-3797.
Mr Langley was a deacon at Faith Chapel Church and he was an avid sportsman whom loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed working in his garden where he grew vegetables and fruit trees.
He was preceded by his father Joe Langley, mother, Lunette Hodge, and a daughter Roxanna Montiso Pitts.
He was survived by his wife Freda Langley, Laurel, MS, sons Jody Langley (Laurie), Laurel, Chuck Trest (Dawn), Sandersville, B.J. Montiso (Jennifer), and daughter Mary Ann Hodge (Jonathan), Laurel. Grand Children Michael Montiso, Nic Genthe, Corbin Genthe, Samantha Genthe, Justin Walters, Makayla Prince, Olivia Montiso, Joey Langley, Dalton Langley, Connor Langley, Ashley Meadows, Adrian Pitts, Marky Pitts, Joey Pitts, Josh Trest. Austin Trest, and one great-grandchild Joey Pitts. He was also survived his brothers Willis Langley, J.L. Langley, Mike Langley, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: B.J. Montiso, Michael Montiso, Justin Walters, Hollis Lee, Kent Hodge, Mike Jones, David Mattox and Deacons of Faith Chapel Church. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Joey Langley, Dalton Langley, Conner Langley.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Faith Chapel in Laurel, MS.
