Lunette Hodge Langley, 69, of Laurel, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Oakland Grove Baptist Church in Jones County, with burial in Oakland Grove Cemetery. The Revs. Jimmy Jones and Macon Phillips will officiate. A homemaker, she was a member of Oakland Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Langley, in 2003; two brothers, Elvin Hodge and Freddie Hodge; and a sister, Jeanette Mosley. She is survived by four sons, Willis Franklin Langley, Joe Pat Langley and Michael Langley, all of Laurel, and J.L. Langley of Heidelberg; four sisters Carrie Kirby, Rosie Livingston, Effie Hembree and Verlie Yarbrough, all of Laurel; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Brannon, Larry Motes, Mike Jones, Jimmy Morris, Doyle Lindsey and Robert Kent Hodge. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today, at the former residence of the deceased. Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
