Marjorie Todd Holt
May 8, 1931 - December 22, 2011
Conway, SC: Marjorie "Margie" Todd Holt, 80, wife of T.L. "Tim" Holt, died peacefully Thursday, December 22, 2011 at home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Conway, SC, she was a daughter of Haskell and Julia Todd. She was CFO and Book Keeper for T.L. Holt Construction, and formerly a commander of Flotilla 12-10 with the Coast Guard Auxiliary, of which she derived great joy. Marjorie served the Auxiliary for 15 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 61 years are 3 sons, Rev. Tim Holt (Karen) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dr. Robert Holt (Nancy) of Chicago, IL and Rick Holt (Sabina) of Myrtle Beach, SC. She leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Jason Holt, Rachel, Holt, Aaron (Bobbie) Holt, Joshua Holt, Jeremy Holt (Julie), Jarrett Holt, Blake Holt, Harlan Holt and Sean Holt. Marjorie also took delight in her 7 great grand children.
Her sisters, Ella Pearl Willard, Mary Nell Thompson, and brother, B.H. Todd, also survive her. Sisters Oneida Martin, Laurene Dusenbury, and brothers, Clayton Todd and Billy Todd, predecease her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2011 at Christ Community Church in Conway, SC with the Rev. Phillip Miles and the Rev. Tim Holt officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 prior to the service.
