Mrs. Dusenbury was born in Hand, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Benjamin Haskel and Julia Parker Todd. She was also predeceased by a brother, Clayton Todd and a sister Oneida Martin. Mrs. Dusenbury was a member of First United Methodist Church in Conway, the Family Fellowship Class and the Bessie Henry Circle. She had taught in the Kindergarten Department, acted as president of the Sunday School class and leader of the Bessie Henry Circle. She was a 50 plus year member of Waccamaw Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, serving in different positions including Worthy Matron.
Surviving are: three sons, Charles E. Dusenbury, Jr. and his wife Sue of Conway, Benjamin T. Dusenbury and his wife Jamie of Augusta, GA., and Gene Richard Dusenbury of Conway; two brothers, B. H. Todd of Conway and William "Bill" Todd of Augusta, GA; three sisters, Margie Holt of Conway, Ella Pearl Willard of North Myrtle Beach, and Mary Nell Thompson of Kingstree, SC; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday from First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mac Kinnett officiating. A private burial will follow directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
