Mr. B. H. Todd, Jr., 89, passed away peacefully at his home on March 23, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Born April 21, 1926 in Horry County he was the son of the late Benjamin Haskell Todd and the late Julia A. Parker Todd.

Mr. Todd was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country in WWII. He farmed and operated Todd's Superette and later was a maintenance foreman with Myrtle Beach Travel Park.

Upon retirement in 1989, he operated Todd's sawmill until his death. He loved traveling to the mountains of Tennessee and riding roller coasters with anyone who would join him. Mr. Todd enjoyed working his vegetable garden and gathering oysters. He loved his family, friends, and church family.

Mr. Todd was predeceased by his wife of 34 years, Eulee Gause Todd; his son Breck Haskell Todd; and his siblings, Clayton Todd, William J, Todd, Oneida Martin, Laureen Dusenbury, Marjorie Holt, and Ella Pearl Willard.

Survivors include his daughters, Angela Todd Pluta (Randy) and Susan Hucks (Paul Geeson); his grandchildren, Melissa Pluta Parker (Will), Shanna Hardee Andrew (Tray), Stephanie Hardee Rea (Raymond), Kimberly Pluta, Marie Hardee Page (Drew), and Kristin Hucks Todd (Brandon); 11 great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary Nell Thompson; and very special friends Theo "Jr." Adams, T. J. & Courtney Adams, John Dunning, Wayne Stanley, and Tim Livingston.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, March 25, 2016 at Sharon Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Terry Porter, Rev. Andy Bell, and Rev. Kenny Todd. Burial will follow in the Todd Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.

The family would like to extend a special word of thanks to Agape Hospice, and to his caregiver Linda Blackwell.
