The Oklahoman, Wednesday, Feb 28, 1946:
L. D. Callaway, 56, brother of Mrs John N. Berry, 1519 Miller Blvd, and former Lawton resident, died Tuesday at a local hospital after a short illness.

He was a drafting engineer, employed by Frazier-Brace Engineering Co., building the Naval Ordinance Plant at Camden, Ark. Born in Batesville, Ark, Callaway settled in Lawton in 1908 and lived there until 1937. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Arrangements will be announced by Garrison (Funeral Home).
