Coy L. Brown, 53, died Thursday at Regional Medical Center, Madisonville, after a long illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with the Rev. John R. Christian officiating and burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkins County, he was born Aug. 17, 1932, the son of Hazel Elizabeth Croft Brown of Hopkinsville and the late William Homer Brown Sr. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was retired from Western State Hospital. He was a member of the Christian church.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Emma Carpenter Brown; two sons, Michael of Tenn. and Gregory of Fla.; a daughter, Lisa; two brothers, William Clyde "Buddy" of Danville and Homer Brown Jr. of Hopkinsville; a sister, Vicki O'Daniel, Louisville; and a grandchild.
