GLEN E. BLOCK, 83, of Rinard, IL passed away December 28, 2011 at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.

Glen was born October 10, 1928 at Cisne, IL to William A. and Francis Ethel (Conard) Block. He married Wanda J. Vaughan November 8, 1957 at Xenia, IL.

Glen was a retired farmer and loved quail hunting. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of Blue Point Free Will Baptist Church; VFW at Flora, IL and Cisne American Legion.

Glen is survived by his wife Wanda Block; sister Hazel Smith; two brothers Harold and Jack Block. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceding Glen in death were one sister Ferne, one brother Carroll and his parents.

Funeral services were held at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in Cisne Cemetery.

There will be military honors at the cemetery.

Memorials in Glen's honor may be given for the Fellowship Hall at Blue Point Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
