Annie Lou "Boots" Morton, 84, died Nov. 25, 2008, at her residence in Oneonta. A Blount native, she was retired as assistant manager of Huffman High School lunchroom. She was predeceased by parents John Franklin and Cora Ether Keener Tolbert; husband Dalton Brady Morton; brothers Lovie, Ott, and Shorty Tolbert; and sister Myrt Robison. Surviving are son Michael (Cathy) Morton of Straight Mountain; grandson Christopher Michael (Jamie) Morton of Oneonta; four great-grandchildren; brother Jack Tolbert of Straight Mountain; sister Robbie Roberts of Straight Mountain. Services were conducted Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. from Bethlehem Baptist Church.
