Lawrence L. Smith, 79, of Andrews, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at his home in Andrews.
Mr. Smith was born April 22, 1932 in Channing, Texas in the Texas Panhandle, to Lawrence and Minnie Smith.
He served in the US Navy from 1951 until 1955.
He married Mittie Blackwell may 11, 1957 in Dalhart, Texas. They lived the cowboy life and worked together on ranches from Texas to California and everywhere in between.
They moved to Andrews in 1971 and remained there ever since.
He is survived by his wife Mittie Smith of Andrews.
