"Mrs. Elda N. Abrahams, 80, of 4709 West Sixty-Ninth, Prairie Village, died last night at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born in Glen Elder, Kas, and had lived in Greater Kansas City 47 years. She and her late husband, John J. Abrahams, owned and operated apartments at Forty-first and Troost Ave 30 years. Mrs. Abrahams was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and served as a gray lady at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She leaves a son, Vernon J. Abrahams, 5811 Tracy; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Watkins, 4909 West Sixty-sixth Terrace, Prairie Village; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Neifert, Glen Elder, and Mrs. Ralph Morton, Wichita; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 o'clock Monday at the Newcomer Chapel, Overland Park; burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 5 o'clock..."
