She received her formal education in the Leake County Public Schools in Leake County, Mississippi. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Delydia Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she worked faithfully.
Jeroldine was united in Holy Matrimony in August of 1937 to the late Theodore R. Nash. To this union, seven (7)children were born.
She relocated with her husband and family to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1951. Her family united with Greater Galilee Baptist Church. Years later, she united with New Covenant Baptist Church under the. leadership of Rev. F.L. Crouther.
Jeroldine Nash silently fell asleep in the arms of Jesus at 4:40 p.m. on Friday. November 7, 2003 at her home. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory-four daughters: Pearlie Boatman, Dorothy Nash, Viola Nash and Christine Nash; two sons: Emmett R. (Carolyn) Nash and
Lacy Nash; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law: Julia M. Nash and Grace Nash, Wilma Cleveland and Georgia M. Cleveland, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Nettie Nash of Chicago, Illinois. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Nash; four sisters: Pencie Cleveland, Lillian Watson, Clatie Collins and Bernice Funches; two brothers: John E. and Lacy Cleveland.
