Judah Collins Willis was the daughter of John and Edith McCarter Collins. She married William J. Willis in Spartanburg about 1829. They had one daughter and one son before they moved from Spartanburg to Fayette County, Alabama. They had four more daughters in Fayette County. Judah died between 1842 and 1850 and is believed to be buried in the cemetery of their church along with her husband, both of whom are in no longer marked graves.
