Paul G. Clary

Funeral services for Paul Glen Clary, 58, of ten miles northeast of Edina, will be held Wednesday afternoon (October 3, 1979) at two o'clock in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina. The Rev. Ronald Garner will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge cemetery northeast of Edina with military rites at the graveside by Knox County VFW Post No. 4822.

Mr. Clary died Sunday night (September 30, 1979) as the result of a fire that destroyed his home.

Born October 25, 1920 in Edina, he was the son of Ulysses Grant and Lena Stephan Clary. On January 31, 1942 in the state of Montana, he married Darlene Sharp who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Larry Clary of LaGrange and David Clary of Lake Tapawingo; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Carolyn) Truitt of Potosi, Wis., Mrs. Larry (Marilyn) McCann of Quincy, Ill., and Jaquelyn Haigh of Edina; seven grandchildren and two brothers, Raymond S. Clary of Keokuk, Iowa and Joseph Delbert Clary of Troy.

Mr. Clary had been a salesman, a contractor and a farmer.

During World War II, Mr. Clary served with the United States Army.

Bearers will be: Jim Allen, Delbert Hawkins, Leroy Anderson, Bob Ward, Tommy D. Small and Glen Gudehus.
