Mrs. Alda Margaret Berrier of West Chester
R. D. passed away on Tuesday, October 6,
1964, at 1 p.m. at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Ray Smith at West Chester R. D. She had
been ill just three days.
She was born on November 4th l891, at Blaine, Perry County,
the daughter of George and Catherine (McGee) College. In
1910 she was united in marriage with Edgar J. Berrier of Shade Gap at her home.
He died in 1945. Nine children survive: Mrs. Ray (Stella) Smith, West Chester
R D.; Dean Berrier and Mrs. Donald (LaRue) Locke,
both of Shade Gap; Mrs. Adrian (Helen) Kling, Blairs Mills; Carl Berrier, Malvern;
Mrs. Boyd (Wanda) Kephart, Maurice and Glenn Berrier, all of West Chester;
Donald Berrier of Rockhill Furnace. Other survivors include 24 grand- children,
7 great-grandchildren and a brother and sister, Bertram College
and Mrs. Eva Boozal, both of McVeytown.
The deceased was a member of the Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church of Shade Gap.
The funeral service will be at two o'clock on Friday, October 9 at the Ott funeral home in Orbisonia. The Rev. Hobert Durand, Presbyterian minister of Dillsworthtown, will officiate.
Interment will be made in the Salem EUB Cemetery.
