Frederick, Md., Oct. 6—Dr. Vernon H. Dyson, 81, Laytonsville physician, died yesterday in Montgomery County Hospital after an illness of several weeks' duration. He had practiced for more than 50 years.

A son of the late Benjamin and Catherine Dyson, of Dawsonville, Md., Dr. Dyson is survived by a sister, Mrs. C. H. Darby, Beallsville, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the home of his sister Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
