Germantown, Aug. 17— The funeral of Mrs. Lena M. Dyson, 68, wife of Dr. Vernon H. Dyson, who died at her home here after a long illness, was held at the home yesterday afternoon. The services were conducted by the Rev. Thomas F. Opie, rector of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, Laytonsville. Burial was in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Md.
Mrs. Dyson was a daughter of the late Israel G. Warfield and was a lifelong resident of Laytonsville and the vicinity. Besides her husband, she leaves a sister, Mrs. Frances Webb, Washington, and two brothers, Dr. Robert C. Warfield, Rockville, and Elisha Warfield, New York.
