Also surviving are five children, Leah Ann Mitchell of Florida, Charlotte Cox and Ronald (Linda) Adkins, both of Chillicothe, Boone (Sue) Adkins of Bainbridge and Virgil(Kristi) Adkins of Sabina; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-
grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Pat Penwell of Upper Sandusky; four brothers, James Adkins of Florida, Lonnie and John Adkins, both of Washington C.H., and Donnie Aadkins of Bainbridge; two sisters, Fannie Mae Woods and Anna Faye Adkins, both of South Salem; and special friends, Alvin Smith and Scott Montgomery. He was preceded in death by a son, five brothers, a sister, three
great-grandchildren and a son-in-law.
Services were entrusted to Smith-Moore Funeral Home of Bainbridge, Ohio.
