Estil Adkins, 75, of Bainbridge, died Thursday, July 29, 2004,at Greenfield Area Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1929, in Carter County, Ky., the son of the late John
Adkins and Mallie Keaton Adkins. On Oct. 24, 1950, he married Lola Faye Sparks, who survives.
Also surviving are five children, Leah Ann Mitchell of Florida, Charlotte Cox and Ronald (Linda) Adkins, both of Chillicothe, Boone (Sue) Adkins of Bainbridge and Virgil(Kristi) Adkins of Sabina; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-
grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Pat Penwell of Upper Sandusky; four brothers, James Adkins of Florida, Lonnie and John Adkins, both of Washington C.H., and Donnie Aadkins of Bainbridge; two sisters, Fannie Mae Woods and Anna Faye Adkins, both of South Salem; and special friends, Alvin Smith and Scott Montgomery. He was preceded in death by a son, five brothers, a sister, three
great-grandchildren and a son-in-law.
Services were entrusted to Smith-Moore Funeral Home of Bainbridge, Ohio.
