Fannie Mae Woods
Fannie Mae Woods, 70, of South Salem, died August 23, 2006, at Mt. Carmel West, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born July 7, 1936, in Lawrence County, Ohio, the daughter of John and Mallie Keaton Adkins.
On April 26, 1958, she married Charles Woods, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Henrietta (Paul) White of Greenfield, Violet (Doug) Hopkins of West Union, Charity (Paul) Bowman and Tammie Woods, both of South Salem; 3 sons, Beaver (Dottie) Woods of Chillicothe, Ray (Melody) Woods of Bainbridge, and Tim (Diane) Woods of South Salem; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one sister Anna Fae Adkins of South Salem; four brothers, John and Lonnie Adkins, both of Washington Court House, James Adkins of Florida and Donnie Atkins of Bainbridge, Ohio.
She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Adrianna Lynn, one sister and six brothers.
Fannie was a member of the Fruitdale United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Smith-Moore Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Marland Penwell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
