Louis Nacke

EFFINGHAM –Louis Nacke, 82, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Effingham died Sunday, Feb 2, 1997, in a Mesa, Ariz., hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Mesa, Ariz., with burial in the church cemetery. Meldrum Mortuary & Chapel, 52 N. MacDonald St., Mesa, Ariz., is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Nacke was born Jan. 13, 1915, in Effingham, the son of Casper and Elizabeth (Koester) Nacke. He married Beulah McWhorther in 1936.
He was a member of Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Mesa, Ariz., and after retirement was active in church volunteer work.
Survivors include his wife: sons, Luis Jr., Larry and Jerry all of Wisconsin, Don and Rick, both of Oklahoma; daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Shirley) Bigelow of Wisconsin, Mrs. Marlin (Rose Mary) Rott of Iowa, Mrs. Jim (Diana) Bamper of Mesa, Ariz.; brother, Donald of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Bernadine Kinkelaar and Millie Stumeier, both of Effingham; 33 grandchildren: and 34 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
