The North Platte Valley's Favorite Daily Paper; Saturday, October 17, 1936 states: He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Halycon Bennett, five daughters and one son. They are Mrs. Charles McGrew, Tulare, Calif., Mrs. Nels Jensen, Alberta, Pauline, Virginia and Leonard Bennett, all of Scottsbluff. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Bennett of Arcadia, Nebr., also survive.
