Bonnie Enel Roddy Way
Beloved mother of Jamie, Kim and Kevin, she passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at her home in Port Vincent. She was 77, born Sept. 24, 1933, in Lake, to George W. and Aglie Mayers Roddy. She was a loving grandmother to Christopher, Christina, Brandi, Ryan and Andrew, and great-grandmother to Colton, Shelbie and Taylor. She also leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Elaine Melancon; devoted daughter-in-law, Becky Dowdy Way; very special niece, Joyce Fontenot; and very dear friend, Mrs. Barbara Pruett. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James F. Way Sr.; grandson, Austin James Way; sister, Lillie Mae Noto; and brothers, George Jr. and Morris Glenn Roddy. Her family is deeply grateful to Dr. John Fraiche, his office staff, and the staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital for their excellent care and compassion; and Brother Carl and Naomi Sullivan for their spiritual guidance and comfort. She is in God's arms now, and in our hearts forever.
