Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Nov. 28, 1925

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Presbyterian church for Mrs. Lynn (Wootsie) Smith, Sr., who died in Memorial Hospital Sunday, November 24, at 10:18 a.m.
The Rev. Owen McGarity, pastor of the Presbyterian church, will conduct the rites with burial in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Seydler-Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith was born in Luling on July 23, 1909, the daughter of James Jefferson and Ada Elizabeth Allen Davis. She was married to Lynn Smith, St., on February 28, 1925, and they resided in Gonzales where she was owner and operator of the Lynn Mobie Theater.
Mr. Smith preceded her in death on December 8, 1979.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church and had worked numerous years with the American Red Cross and the Chaber of Commerce.
