WINNFIELD -- Services for Henry B. Vines Sr. will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern with the Revs. Rayford Higgs and Rayford Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.
Vines, 72, of Joyce died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Humana Hospital, Winn Parish.
He was a retired custodian for Tremont Lumber Co. and a native of Winn Parish. He was a member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bea Vines of Joyce; one son, Henry Vines Jr. of Joyce; four daughters, Beatrice Gorham of Joyce, Naomi Wright of Dodson, Florence Sullivan of Winnfield and Linda Fuselier of Alexandria; four brothers, Albert Vines, Clyde Vines and Lenord Vines, all of Dodson, and Dewey Vines of Winnfield; one sister, Ella Snellings of Winnfield; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
