Died 11:05 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 1987, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 64, a native of Gonzales. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 2 to 10 p.m. Monday, and 8 to 11:40 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church at noon Tuesday, conducted by Monsignor Leo Guillot. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Dorothy Ricca Bourgeois; two daughters, Mrs. C.W. (Sammie Jeanne) Cockrell,San Marcos, Texas, and Mrs. Randy (Cecilia Marie) Richie, Baton Rouge; three sons, Howard Louis and Patrick Lee Bourgeois, both of Baton Rouge, and John Wayne Bourgeois, San Marcos; a sister, Mrs. J.W. (Bennie) Webb, Denham Springs; three brothers, JamesH. Bourgeois, Biloxi, Miss., Ralph M. and Robert S. Bourgeois, both of Pensacola, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Alce Bourgeois and Enid B. Poche; a brother, Charles Wayne Bourgeois; and a sister, Mrs. Marilyn Barnes. Pallbearers will be nephews. He was a lifetime member of World War II Submarine Veterans Association and VFW. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge, 650 Steele Blvd., 70806.
