James Hilton "Jim" Bourgeois, a computer maintenance supervisor with Keesler Air Force Base, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. He was 75, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Electric Mills, Miss. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara "Bobbie" Domengeaux Bourgeois, Baton Rouge; two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Ann and James Misner, Holt, Mo., and Mona Frances and Rick Servais, Sumter, S.C.; two sons, Terry and wife Leann Bourgeois, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Charles Wayne and wife Elizabeth Bourgeois, Sumpter; mother of his children, Frances Williams, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three step-daughters, Robin G. Veith and husband Robert "Bobby," New Orleans, Aimee Gautreau and companion Ellen Davis, Chappaqua, N.Y., and Jeanine G. Loup and husband Terry, Dutchtown; sister, "Bennie" P. Webb and husband J.W., Denham Springs; cousin, Gilda Causey, Gonzales, who was like a sister to him; and eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Alces and Enid Young Bourgeois; four brothers, John Wayne, Lee Owen, Robert, and his twin, Ralph; sister, Marilyn P. Barnes; and stepfather, Lucas Poche.
