Ralph M. Bourgeois, 75, of Pensacola passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007.
Mr. Bourgeois was a native of Electric Mills, MS and resided in Pensacola for the past 34 years. He retired from the United States Army as First Sergeant and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. Mr. Bourgeois was a member of the VFW Post 340 and had been employed with RESCO for 18 years.
Preceding Mr. Bourgeois in death are his first wife of 36 years, Helga Bourgeois, a son, Robert Bourgeois, and daughter, Dorothy Bourgeois.
An old soldier has faded away leaving to cherish his memory his wife, Rita Bourgeois; five sons, Richard, Ralph and Jimmy Bourgeois and Scott and Brett Allison; daughter, Pat Finley; twin brother, James Bourgeois; sister, Bennie Webb; 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at PENSACOLA MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
The family wishes to express their heart-felt thank you to the staff at Bayside Manor and to Hospice on the Emerald Coast.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Alzheimer's Family Services, Inc. 3454 East Olive Road Pensacola, FL 32514.
