Anna Vero was born in June 1860 in Stourbridge, Staffordshire, England. Living with her husband and father-in-law on the Alderson farm in 1880, Anna had her age recorded at 19, her two children being ages 3 and 2. She immigrated in 1867 to the United States. She was about seven, and according to an article about her husband, she came from Staffordshire, England, with her parents. They settled in Pittsburgh, where she obtained a good education in the city schools. She died on 15 Mar 1948 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. She was buried on 18 Mar 1948 in Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Mount Lebanon, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

She was married to William Alderson (son of Thomas Alderson and Jane Parker) in 1876. She was a housewife. Almost all of the data about the descendants of William Alderson and Ann Vero is from the personal research of Bernard Charles Alderson - E-mail: [email protected]
