In 1774, Chatham, North Carolina, court minutes show Daniel allowed 5 wolf scalps. In 1775, sold 175 acres along New Hope Creek (Chatham, North Carolina) to John Hatley for 21 pounds proclamation money. Recorded 8/1775. May 1775
