George McClelland Bishop, son of Oliver Bishop and Sarah Jane Courtwright, married FANNIE BELLE MOSSMAN on Nov 6, 1887, Vinton County.

George, a coal miner, and Fannie Belle were the parents of two surviving sons, TIMOTHY OLIVER, born Apr 22, 1890, and JAMES EMERY, born Nov 29, 1895, Wilkesville. Infant son, GEORGE, died Jan 8, 1889, 5M 7D. There is no stone for infant George.

Timothy Oliver Bishop married Laura L. Legar, born June 1, 1891, Pomeroy, Meigs Co, daughter of Christopher H. Legar and Mary Ann Stobart. A telegraph operator, Tim & Laura lived in Meigs County, with their two children, George J. and Mary Ann, from 1920 through 1940.
Timothy O. (1890-1971) and Laura L. (1891-1978) Bishop are buried at Union Cemetery, Colummbus.

James Emery Bishop, telegraph operator/road construction worker, married Elizabeth Ponn, born Apr 3, 1901, Wilkesville, daughter of Edward Ponn and Nettie T. Oiler.

George McClelland died a few weeks before Fannie Belle; cause of death: coronary occlusion, 79Y 5M 12D; his son, James Emery, was the informant.
