Funeral services for Mrs. Nina Newell Hargrove, 89, of Kelly will be held Sunday March 23, 2003 at 2:00pm from the Riser Funeral Chapel in Columbia with Rev. W.A. Massey Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Hargrove Cemetery in Clarks.

She was born in Caldwell Parish on January 31, 1914 to the union of the late W.E. and Malissa Cox Newell. She died at the Hardtner Medical Center in Urania on March 21, 2003.

She was a retired postmaster of the Kelly post office, and a member of the Kelly Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: Travis W. Hargrove, Daughter: Imogene Hargrove, and also her Son-in-law: Marvin Wilber.

Survivors include: 3 Daughters: Marilyn H. Glover and her husband Duane of Princeton, Martha A. Funderburk and her husband Floyd of Montgomery, and Jeanette Wilber of Colfax, 8 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Wilber, Charles Wilber, Travis Wilber, Michael Sullivan, Kay Wayne Hargrove, and [missing].

Visitation will be held on Sunday at the Riser Funeral Home from 8:00am until the time of service.
